I. General Conditions:

1. General Conditions:

It is understood that the data displayed through this application is subject to constant change and that its accuracy cannot be guaranteed. The maps have been created from information provided by various government and private sources at various levels of accuracy. The data is provided to you 'as is' with no warranty, representation or guaranty as to the content, sequence, accuracy, timeliness or completeness of any of the information provided herein. It is the responsibility of the user of the data to be aware of the data's limitations and to utilize the data in an appropriate manner.

II. Disclaimers:

1. Texas Government Code Title 10, Subtitle B, Section 2051.102:

This product is for informational purposes only and may not have been prepared for or be suitable for legal, engineering, or surveying purposes. It does not represent an on-the-ground survey and represents only the approximate relative location of property boundaries.

2. Site Address (Property Address)

The Dallas Central Appraisal District strives to ensure the accuracy of the information for the accounts and parcels it maintains. Site (property) Addresses are created, adjusted, deleted and maintained by the jurisdiction where they are located (either a municipal city or county). When creating new accounts or parcels, the Dallas Central Appraisal District uses a generic number for the Site Address until the jurisdiction provides us with the updated property address. The property address may also be corrected if one of our appraisers has visibly confirmed the property address in the course of their duties. If you believe that the property address for an account or parcel is in error, please contact the city or county jurisdiction in which the account or parcel is located in order to confirm the property address. If the city or county jurisdiction confirms that the Dallas Central Appraisal District's Site address is in error, please ask them to notify the District either through a letter, with that jurisdiction's letterhead, or they may email the Dallas Central Appraisal District at dcs@dcad.org. For a list of jurisdictions' websites, please visit the links tab on our webpage.

3. Current Property Map

The Current Base Map shown on the DCAD Property Map is not the same as the map for the Certified Appraisal Roll. The Current Base Map shows any and all recent adjustments made to the parcels, newly created parcels and omits recently deleted parcels that have occurred since the last Certified Appraisal Roll. If you are in need of the last Certified (or any of the 5 prior Certified) Appraisal Rolls and corresponding maps please visit GIS Data Products web page and the Data Products web page to download the desired Certified Appraisal Roll.
